Collection: Roofing lath
Roof Battens
Roof Battens are the lengths of wood that are laid in-between the rafters to secure the roofing felt and to accept the tiles or slates when they are fitted. Roofing battens or battening, also called roofing lath, are used to provide the fixing point for roofing materials such as shingles or tiles and the spacing of the battens will depend on the type of roofing material, applied horizontally.
